If you disagree with FEMA’s decision, you have the right to appeal. Sometimes all you need is to provide additional information. Here are tips to help submit your appeal to FEMA:

SPRINGFIELD – Illinoisans with disaster-related damage or loss from the July 13 – 16 severe storms, tornadoes, straight-line winds, and flooding in Cook, Fulton, Henry, St. Clair, Washington, Will, and Winnebago counties have until Tuesday, November 19 to apply for assistance from FEMA and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

SPRINGFIELD – In observance of the federal holiday, all Disaster Recovery Centers in Illinois will close temporarily on Monday, November 11 for Veterans Day. The centers will reopen on Tuesday, November 12 following their scheduled hours of operation.
